The Travel Insurance plan that Direct Line Cruises offers is with Travel Insured International. It includes traditional cancellation protection for covered reasons (such as illness or injury or death of the insured traveler, an immediate family member or traveling companion or other unanticipated occurrences - as specified in the plan), as well as a very substantial package of post-departure insurance coverage and worldwide travel assistance benefits (as briefly explained below).
What does the Travel Insured International Plan Cover?
- Trip Cancellation (for a covered reason) – up to 100% of Trip Cost
- Trip Interruption (for a covered reason) – up to 100% of Trip Cost
- Travel Delay – Up to $500 per person
- Missed Connection – Up to $500 per person
- Emergency Medical Expense Reimbursement (during the cruise) – up to $25,000 per
person - Emergency Medical Evacuation (during the cruise) – up to $50,000 per person
- Baggage Loss or Delay – up to $1,500 per person for loss or $500 per person for delay
- Worldwide Travel Assistance (e.g., cash advance / lost passport / emergency air ticket
purchase, etc.)
